Surrey B.C. Canada came to a standstill on Saturday as 200,000 people took to the streets to celebrate Vaisakhi in the biggest procession of its kind in the West.
The procession is a display of passion, seva and pride for the Sikh community. Jaz Dhami became the first British artist to perform on the main stage with a full live band in the events history.
Jaz Dhami grasped the crowds attention performing a number of religious and inspirational songs, including his first religious track ‘SARDARI’ OUT NOW on the ‘JAKARA’ album produced by Revolution Records – especially to mark this years Vaisakhi celebrations.
Jaz Dhami was overwhelmed by the experience “Surrey Nagar Kirtan will be one of the most memorable performances of my career, it was like a dream come true. No words can explain the feeling I got when I first walked on stage. I felt myself being in another place and going into something that I’ve never experienced before. It was like a constant buzz, a spiritual energy telling me that this is what real music is and who I am. It was a beautiful day, colour everywhere, people listening attentively and I just performed songs straight from my heart.”

Since deleting her Twitter account, Nicki Minaj sent a worrying letter to her fansite NickiDaily.com who happen to have removed their site from the internet after getting into a spat with the rapper.
The letter has been obtained by MediaTakeOut.com, concerned close family, friends and fans of the femecee in which the 29 – year – old thanks her fans for their continuous support in her music.
The Young Money star expresses her feelings to her fans who have been there for her from the beginning of her career. The letter seemed to be a hint to the star possibly stopping her music career or even heading for a nervous breakdown.
“Dear Barbz, if ever should come a time where you don’t hear my voice; remember this: I am absolutely, positively head over heels in love with you guys.”

Insider’s from Nicki’s camp are concerned that she is working too hard. The letter has been thought to be a suicidal note as its not the first sign from Nicki that has gotten everyone worried.
The Starship hit maker has been acting bizarre lately, answering questions with strange responses in recent interviews, and even revealing to wanting to kill her father when she was a child after he would threaten her mother with violence.
As no one knows what is going on, we just as hope that Nicki is okay!

Nicki Minaj has deleted her Twitter account after having an argument with a fan who leaked her new music from her re – launched album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
The 29 – year – old tweeted: “And that’s exactly why I’m paying the barbz DUST right now!
“And deleting my twitter. Smdh – don’t cry for me argentina.”
Before she left she tweeted again for the last time: “ Like seriously, its but so juch a person can take. Good f***ing bye.”
After deactivating her account, Nicki made a brief time telling her followers she would be looking for a new set of ‘barbz’ as she posted a tweet saying: “On second thought I’ll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet. *side eyes them* *looks into the sea for more.”
The fansite NickiDaily.com have also seemed to pull down their website. The website link now leads to a page saying it has been closed.
