Five-time VMA nominee RiRi has been announced to spice things up at the bash on September 6th and she is tied with former flame Drake for the night’s most nominations.
Rihanna looks likely to stand a good chance for Video of the Year given that she has two songs nominated in that category.
Odd Future’s Frank Ocean has also been scheduled to perform while the list of presenters at the awards is full of some interesting characters.
The Wanted, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones, 2 Chainz and Ke$ha are all set to hand out various gongs, adding to the likes of Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller who had already been announced.
Also on hand to present are the ‘Fierce Five’, the nickname for the US Women’s Olympics Gymnastics Team that won gold at London 2012 recently.
The show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
It will also feature a performance from Alicia Keys.
