Lady Gaga’s third album will be called ‘Art Pop’ she let her fans know by via her new tattoo.
The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her second album Born This Way, which has gone multi-platinum around the world since its release in May last year.
Gaga took to Twitter to tease details of the new release, posting a picture of herself with the caption
‘new ink new album.’
The new tat sees the word ARTPOP written in capital letters on the inside of Gaga’s arm.
Gaga then posted an image featuring the words
‘we could/we could/belong together. ARTPOP’, which many fans suggested could be song lyrics from the upcoming LP.
Confirming that ARTPOP is the album’s title, Gaga added:
‘make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title.’
It seems ARTPOP may be more than just a music album, with Gaga hinting at the meaning of the title by re-tweeting a message which read:
‘Artistic Revolution Through the Potential Of Pop #ARTPOP.’
The 26-year-old has already confirmed that her latest LP will be released next year, previously promising that ARTPOP will hit shops
